American Ireland Fund

American Ireland Fund

There's a deep cultural connection between Ireland and the United States, and the history of this charity is tied to a foundation that was founded by US President John F. Kennedy and Irish President Eamon de Valera.  The name became The American Ireland Fund after the two merged.

Operating worldwide, with membership chapters in 12 different countries, the Worldwide Ireland Funds have raied more than $500 million for over 3,000 organizations.

Few cultures have had as profound an influence on America as that brought over by Irish Immigrants, and the mutual appreciation and kindred spirit in values has been strong ever since the first immigrants came over hundreds of years ago.

With the goal of being the largest network of friends of Ireland dedicated to supporting programs of peace and reconciliation, arts and culture, education and community development - these guys have the influence and management expertise to truly effect change.
