When Trees Atlanta was founded in 1985, its stated purpose was to protect and improve Atlanta's urban forest by planting, conserving, and educating. 29 years and over 100,000 trees later, that mission remains the same. Through a combination of full-time staff, our dedicated and ever-growing community of volunteers, and partnerships with contractors and corporate partners, Trees Atlanta is committed to maintaining and expanding the natural tree canopy of our great city.
Georgia is known for it's greenery and has lots of awesome trails to offer its people and tourists. We need to invest in Trees Atlanta to make that possible while Atlanta's urban population continues to grow. Keep the trees of Atlanta protected!
